NetGuru (Pty) Ltd Company deals with the supply and installation of control systems, as well as upgrading old systems to autonomous functionality which has fully-fledged feedback control. We also develop software for electro-mechanical systems which controls the way these systems operate and ensure they operates with minimal offset. To achieve the desired target on various systems we do compensator design (lead-lag compensators) using control systems toolboxes in order to correct leading and lagging systems to desired conditions. The performance of various systems depends also on system modeling, determining systems performance by virtue of simulation on MATLAB how the real system will behave when it’s put into the physical environment.
In these modern times it is important to have carefully developed control systems to ensure proper feedback control. It has shown that systems that lack proper feedback control often cause great inconveniences which includes financial loss, loss of reputation by potential clients) and in machine operated environments may pose a serious threat to human life. E.g. Radiation leak in a nuclear plant due to poor offset handling may lead to severe damage to human life. Noise is also a factor that is prevalent in machines but needs to be minimized (Noise Reduction) to avoid possible damage to the environment.
